Q6. Which is the correct entrance to the
school for pupils?
A6. (Headmistress Mrs Thewlis writes) As Headteacher of the school I have
a duty of care for all the children. The five bar gate that is Closed
every morning is closed to PREVENT adults and children entering the school
this way. This entry point is not a thoroughfare. Cars, vans and delivery,
people are given set times to come to school but sometimes we are obliged
to take deliveries at other times.
Your children are at risk if you do not
enter through the correct gate.
At home time a significant number of
parents encourage your children to exit through this gate - You are
putting your child at risk.
Please do not place your child in
danger, do not give them the wrong message about entry / exit gates. I
have spoken to the whole school about the gate, please support the school
and enter and exit via the correct gate.
